"Απολογία Σωκράτους" by Plato is a work likely written in 397 or 396 BCE. It presents Socrates' defense speech at his trial in 399 BCE, where he faced charges of impiety and corrupting the youth. Unlike Plato's other works, this is his only non-dialogical piece and the only one where he explicitly states his presence at the events described.
