# Smart Book

> Smart Book is a bilingual ebook reader that shows the original text and its translation side by side, so you learn languages by reading the books and stories you love. Tap any word for an instant translation while reading — switch between Google Translate, DeepL, Reverso Context, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Yandex and more in a single tap. Free, available on iOS and Android, supporting ~100 languages. Developed by Stanislau Kurs (KursX).

Smart Book turns every page into a language lesson. It is a dual-language / parallel-text reader for language learners: original and translation are shown together, every word is tappable for an instant translation and native-speaker audio, and unfamiliar words can be saved with their context to a personal dictionary for spaced-repetition review (export to Anki or ReWord). You can read from a built-in free library of bilingual stories, or load your own FB2, EPUB and TXT books and even import `.SRT` subtitles as parallel text.
