Badavlat ingliz janoblari Fileas Fogg dunyoni roppa-rosa sakson kunda aylanib chiqish uchun 20 000 funt sterling miqdoridagi garovni qabul qiladi. U fransuz xizmatkori Paspartu hamrohligida qit’alarni poyezd, paroxod va fil yordamida kesib o‘tadi. Biroq ularning izidan tushgan detektiv Fogni bank qaroqchisi deb hisoblaydi va har qadamda ularning missiyasiga tahdid soladi.
