« Peter et Wendy » de J. M. Barrie est un roman publié en 1911, adapté de sa pièce de théâtre de 1904. Il raconte l’histoire de Peter Pan, un garçon espiègle qui peut voler et qui ne grandit jamais. Il invite Wendy Darling et ses frères sur l’île magique de Nullepart, où vivent des sirènes, des fées et des pirates. Là-bas, ils rencontrent les Garçons Perdus ainsi que le redoutable Capitaine Hook, et vivent des aventures qui brouillent la frontière entre la merveille de l’enfance et le danger.
