Antiquities of the Jews” av Flavius Josephus är ett 20-volymigt historiografiskt verk som skrevs år 94 e.Kr. Denna monumentala grekiska text skildrar judisk historia från skapandet av Adam och Eva till den första judisk-romerska kriget. Skrivet för en greko-romersk målgrupp presenterar Josephus bibliska berättelser samt händelser som inträffade efter Bibeln, i syfte att motbevisa romerska missuppfattningar om judarna.
