Al de Kinderliederen
Over dit boek
"Al de Kinderliederen" by J.P. Heije is a collection of children's songs published in 1861. This compilation contains 150 songs originally released in three separate volumes between 1843-1845. Breaking with tradition, Heije collaborated with prominent Dutch composers to create original melodies for his texts, moving away from moralizing themes toward celebrating childhood and nature. Several songs, including "Daar zaten zeven kikkertjes" and the Sinterklaas song "Zie, de maan schijnt door de boomen," remain beloved in Dutch culture into the twenty-first century.
