"Χοηφόροι" by Aeschylus is a tragedy that forms the second part of the Oresteia, the only complete surviving ancient trilogy. Together, they plot vengeance against those who wronged their family. The work consists of 1,076 verses filled with repeated curses, invocations of justice, and mounting tension toward a violent resolution.
