„תולדות שקיעתה ונפילתה של האימפריה הרומית — כרך 6” מאת אדוארד גיבון הוא חיבור היסטורי שפורסם בשנת 1788. כרך שישי ואחרון זה משלים את בחינתו המונומנטלית של גיבון את קריסתה של האימפריה הרומית. היצירה מתחקה אחר האירועים משיאה של רומא ועד נפילת ביזנטיון, ובוחנת כיצד פלישות הברברים, עליית הנצרות ואובדן המעלה האזרחית הובילו לשקיעתה של האימפריה. סגנונו המרוחק אך הביקורתי של גיבון עורר מחלוקת מתמשכת סביב תפקידה של הנצרות בגורלה של רומא, אף שהתזה המרכזית שלו נותרה שנויה במחלוקת בקרב חוקרים בני זמננו.
