״The Seven Lamps of Architecture״ מאת ג׳ון ראסקין הוא חיבור מורחב שפורסם במאי 1849. ראסקין מציג שבעה עקרונות המגדירים אדריכלות טובה, וטוען שההתקדמות הטכנולוגית מאז הרנסאנס הפחיתה את החיוניות הרוחנית של האדריכלות. הוא מעלה על נס את האדריכלות הגותית של ימי הביניים כצורה האמיתית ביותר, ודוגל במלאכת מחשבת כנה, בעיטור טבעי ובבנייה בעבודת יד על פני שיטות תעשייתיות. היצירה סייעה לבטא את האידיאלים של תנועת התחייה הגותית וזכתה להצלחה בקרב הציבור, ובהמשך התרחבה ליצירתו בת שלושת הכרכים, ״The Stones of Venice״.
